Pricing

Warns below this.
1.3 well kept, 1.5 typical, 2.0 neglected.

How the numbers are built

  1. Hours per visit = square feet ÷ production rate, plus minutes per restroom fixture, plus fixed minutes.
  2. Loaded labor cost = wage × (1 + FICA + FUTA + state unemployment + workers' comp + other).
  3. Direct cost = hours per month × loaded cost, plus supplies.
  4. Price = direct cost ÷ (1 − overhead % − profit %), rounded up to the next $5.

Honest notes

  • This is an estimator and decision aid, not a guaranteed market price and not legal, tax or insurance advice. Your bid is your decision.
  • Production rates are editable starting ranges from public sources. For dental, gym, church, daycare, bank branch and apartment common areas the public data is thin; the calculator says so when you pick them. Time your own crew and type your rate in section 3.
  • Wage, minimum-wage and unemployment-tax data are U.S. only. Enter your own wage and costs anywhere else.
